The elegance of the Townsend Mansion graces each and every room. Designed and constructed by Curtis John Hillyer in 1873, the Cosmos Club is a historic downtown landmark. The Club’s beauty and ambiance creates a setting that is impossible to duplicate in more modern facilities.

The setting for your meeting will be filled with old fashioned warmth and tradition along with all of the modern technology and amenities of the 21st century. Our staff can supply any group with state-of-the-art technological audio/visual equipment from LCD projectors and DVD players to cordless microphones and amplified lecterns.

Entertainment to match the mood of your event requires established connections with area musicians. Whether you would like a string quartet or a piano player, background music or ballroom boogie, our staff has extensive experience and excellent relationships with our area’s top entertainers.

All private events at the Cosmos Club must be either hosted or sponsored by a Club member.
